I’m not a delegate. Can I attend the MSEA Convention?
Absolutely! Admission is free and registration takes place at the door. Mark your calendar for October 18-19, 2019.
What are the convention hours?
Workshops are tentatively scheduled from 8:30 – 1:30 on Friday and 8:30 – 11:45 on Saturday. Exhibit halls are open Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:0 p.m.
Is it really free?
Yes!
What activities can I attend as a non-delegate?
Visit all of the exhibits located throughout the second floor of the convention center, including professional education exhibits, the annual health fair, and the all-member trade show. You can attend any of the professional development workshops. And don’t miss the president's reception on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. in the Convention Center Ballroom!
How do I attend the workshops?
Show your MSEA membership ID card or simply sign in at the non-delegate registration booth inside the Convention Center. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. both days.
Are the workshops free, too?

Can I get CEUs and/or certificates of completion for attending workshops?
Contact your district’s certification/staff development office for information about credit.
